Record of activities of farmer's daughter, such as quilting, sewing, baking and churning butter; includes reference to collecting money for soldiers' shirts on July 7, 1862 and to the return of members of the 19th Regiment of Connecticut Infantry on April 3, 1863. A sketch labeled "John Brown on a raid" appears under memoranda in the 1863 diary.
